What Steam players say

Players praise Sintopia's charming art style, witty writing, addictive gameplay, and novel management mechanics that scale in complexity based on your preference. However, many players express frustration with the game's steep difficulty curve and "doom spiral" moments where cascading failures can quickly make a save unrecoverable, combined with occasional bugs and crashes that force restarts, leaving players feeling powerless despite careful planning. The game is recommended for fans of quirky management sims willing to embrace its punishing design, but may not appeal to those seeking forgivi
Amazing game!!
Seems like this game won't be for me. Overall, it seems to be this (feels more like a factory game then the dungeon keeper I expected): while(any sin > 50) goto: specializedQueue else while (total sin > 50) goto: normalQueue specializedQueue: if (envy >50) goto: envyDoctor if (wrath >50) goto: wrathDoctor normalqueue: if (envy > 50) goto: omnidoctor goto: faithcoins And the overworld seems to be casting lightning strikes to villains using your faithcoins. Reminds me of Populous. Also prone to "doom loops" where something happens and you're screwed. At which point you need to reload a save.
Finished the game on hard. Basic Thoughts/Overview. It's a unique blend of Black & White 2 *lite mode* (with god powers) and a basic-intermediate level of an automation game (half-half | hell-overworld). It's the type of game thats easy to understand at a base level but takes a bit of time and failure to finely adjust to min-max 3 currencies (god power credit, core credit (for building and managing the hell side), and a currency-per-say for a side-army-cult) and mastering the mechanics. Pre-purchase I was skeptical (I tend to read review counts and calculate/diff risk with price) but glad I dripped in and bought the game. Most basic Gameplay review (the most important part) Great game. No major gameplay issues for me. Other stuff * Full Voice casting, * Mostly polished with little bugs (one mid campaign bug, using cult action to "get" a sloth demon doesn't count as a sloth demon in one of the missions, where there are 4 sloth demons. I killed them in advance so almost got softlocked out, but I organically made a soul by using cult action "advertise sin"? and raised sloth sin to generate a demon.) * Decent story [spoiler] with a hint of a further story at the end of th…
This game is engaging and challenging, yet it also has a great sense of humor. The visuals are pretty. Great game.
Kinda shallow as far as the trees of processing go. Definitely a fun game with an amusing premise and atmosphere. I do like the 80s schtick. Thanks for making the game.
I've expected a factory management game, and while I've got that in very light way that normally would barely satisfy me, I've also got a game that scratched my god game itch I have not felt since I've played Black & White. It's a simple game, but it has just enough depth and difficulty to be really entertaining.
