About Slice of Sea
Meet the Seaweed:
Slice of Sea is a a peaceful adventure and puzzle game. You play as Seaweed, a sea creature in a metal armor clearly out of their element, as you find yourself at the beginning of the game in desolate mountains with no sea in sight.
World:
This is the world of Daymare. Most of structures you'll find are abandoned. Entropy has set deep within its walls and it seems that as native inhabitants left long time ago, completely new menagerie was ready to settle in.
Story:
Seaweed desperately needs to get back home, to the sea. There's a desert in between him and the shore. It's up to you to help him.
Puzzles:
Seaweed's armor has legs, but no arms. That means that while you traverse this world by walking as Seaweed, he's counting on you, the overseeing omnipotent witness to solve all puzzles. Use keyboard to move around and mouse to interact with surroundings.
Graphics:
Entire game was hand-drawn with ink on paper, which gives very specific character to all locations and creatures. There's nothing auto-generated nor procedural. Each location was thoughtfully designed. Stylized drawings give the game its eerie atmosphere.
Music:
Ambient music was created by Thumpmonks and main theme song written and performed by Cat Jahnke.

I finished the game but still don't know what's going on, some puzzles don't even have any hints and they took a long time to solve.1 found this helpful
This is the kind of weird world that draws you in with its uncanny atmosphere and logic-based puzzles1 found this helpful
It's a pretty cool game, the artwork and the music are just fantastic! The game consists of many puzzles which will walk you all around the map. The map is huge and has a lot of areas, so make sure you take some notes along the way. Keep pen and paper ready, you'll need it for the puzzles!1 found this helpful
This is a fun game. I'm a fan of Mateusz Skutnik's previous point-and-click games (Daymare Town and Submachine). Slice of Sea adds more depth by adding a controlled character to the mix changes how the point-and-click is played when the perspective gets shifted as you move.
So fun. It was a combination of hidden figures and puzzles.
beautiful and challenging, well worth it as it will keep you busy for hours
