About Sonder. Episode ONE
Sonder. is a SciFi third-person Mystery Adventure game unlike anything you have ever played before. It is an interactive nonlinear time loop where you are in total control of space, time and the lives of everyone in it.
You are given a section of time to analyze - you can observe from the sidelines as the same mistakes are being made over and over again, or you can take control of any character, at any time and experience events from that character's unique perspective. Then you may guide them to the choices that will ultimately lead them to salvation - or bring them to their doom.
Time marches forward mercilessly for the characters, but for you it is merely a resource. You can restart the time loop at any time, as many times as you wish. You can rewind to any past point within the loop and attempt to change what happens from that point onward.
The only place where information can survive from one loop to the next - is in your head!
The characters in the story have no recollection of events in previous loops. Each time you restart the loop, or rewind time - they have to re-learn what they previously knew. It will be up to you to make them find the information (that only you know is out there) quicker and do something with it.
As you get more and more familiar with the story and the character's roles in it - a deeper mystery will become apparent. How much will you manage to unravel in the first episode?
Features:
What happens to you in this story depends on you. Each player will have a different experience, based on which character he controls and what choices he makes as that character.

I highly recommend this game after a short play! The art style, sound and story are great. Controlling the character is a bit clunky for me but you get used to it. It is still in early access so there are things that will be improved. It definitely deserves more attention. Looking forward to playing final version and new episodes.2 found this helpful

WOo.....i believe it is a great game in future...i love such type of game ..but there is an very serious control problem in the game atm...(the problem still not be fixed until now)....i can use WASD for moving ..it okay..HOWEVER, it is too difficult to use mouse to turn around ..it make me sick and feel headache seriously....the character walks look like a person who drunk and leads i can't move the character correctly and smoothly and v difficult to focus to choose option or action i want to do..it cause my character always waste much time for walking from one place to another one...and can't finish everything i want within limit timing.....pls improve the control setting (in aspect of using mouse to turn around) immedicately...otherwise, i believe no one can play it smoothly and happy.1 found this helpful

So far, I'm really enjoying this game. It's in Early Access, so it's not fully polished, but the story and the idea of it is great. Once I figured out how to use the rewind feature of the game, I started having a lot more fun with it. It's definitely not an easy game, I've definitely had points where I got really frustrated and I didn't know what was going on. Sonder doesn't follow any formula from any other game I've played and you can't go into it expecting it to be like anything you've played before. Overall, this game is has really challenged me and forced me to think differently about the way I approach action RPGs. It's pretty cerebral and it requires a certain amount of critical thinking. There's definitely suspense and that feeling of anticipation or unease, but doesn't have the jump-scare factor that a lot of horror games rely on. It's not too fast paced, but also doesn't drag on. It's a hard game to describe and it's even harder to master, but it's unlike any other game I've played before and it definitely exceeded my expectations. If you want a giant, open-world RPG with bosses you beat by memorizing some sequence of attacks, this is not a game for you. If you're looki…1 found this helpful
