God, I'm only half an hour in and bored out of my mind. Going into a digital world, everyone cares about idols, nothing happens in the story, etc. Like, this is some record breaking levels of awfulness. I got it for the cute girls tbh, and I'm still disappointed. You think they would try to put a somewhat decent story in here but it's just a vapid excuse to have a couple of JPGS of the cutely drawn girls. This is legit worse than Sakura Spirit. At least stuff actually happened in that game. here, it's dull, boring, and awful. If I had paid full price for this, my head would have exploded. Getting the trading cards for this game and then never turning it on again. Avoid this game like the plague.6 found this helpful
Overall, it's a very funny and pretty kinetic VN that delivers on bringing a fantastical idol competition to life. With its premise of a competition, you get to see quite a few interesting scenarios, like the "confession" part or the game of capture-the-flag-between-my-anime-tiddies. The humour of the girls being anthropomorphic web browsers were some of the best parts. I like how Tsukikage's name refers to her being a shadow of the past, and how Higitsune talks like a grandmother because Mozilla Firefox is an ancient browser. The character tensions are also pretty hilarious--the bickering between Higitsune and Tsukikage never failed to get a laugh out of me. My only gripe is the lack of CGs for some events. They just described what was going on, and I feel like it was a great hindrance to the story-telling. I get that maybe E-mote was out of the budget, as well as *eden's every-frame-is-a-special-CG style, but could they really not get the artist to draw the action scene actually happening instead of a still of what was happening like 5 minutes ago? Compared to other VNs, it lacks in the presentation department and is a bit short (but at least it's not too long). I recommend bu…1 found this helpful

nice novel
Space Live - Advent of the Net Idols is a Visual Novel that focuses on 5 girls in this Idol world. With each of the 5 different spaces choosing a representative for this competition, the time has come to see which one will emerge victorious. There are multiple rounds they must do from singing to acting to capture the flag to find out who will win this Space Live. The first thing to point of for this VN is that it is a kinetic visual novel. A kinetic visual novel does not have player choice implemented, meaning you will just go through the entire story without any choice. First the characters. Each of the five girls are based on different web browsers (G Chrome is obviously Google Chrome for example.) I like the variety of different colors of each of them, and the art is great. Sadly, we don't get many moments to see their character. The only one to get that is Ai at the start while the others get their introduction and how they interact with each other. The music is good, though I'm not one to know when music in a game is bad. However, I do think that sometimes, the music is repeated a few times. Also I do kinda wish there was voice acting seeing as there was a part where the ch…
