square's route is a colorful cube-rolling puzzler, sadly without undo, which is an instant dealbreaker, especially in an isometric game where it's easy to accidentally press the wrong direction. there's not even a reset hotkey, gotta do it from the pause menu with more then a single click or keypress. 100 levels unlocked one by one. the goal is to squish all the evil plants, no exit to reach until the last stage. stars are awarded for finishing, doing so within the fewest possible moves, and collecting all the gems. there are next level and world map buttons on the level complete screen but no retry button, so if you want to go for a better solution, map first. there is a retry button upon failure but it doesn't simply restart the level, just brings up the preview with a play button. no level numbers outside that screen and the world map either. most levels don't fit the screen and planning ahead is troublesome without zoom, would be so even with undo. no timer but there's a hard move limit, can't go over. there are also many real-time/timing elements. platforms and elevators only waste the player's time by constantly moving…

Played on Steam Deck. The first 50 levels are ok for some offline gaming, but when the puzzles get a bit longer the lack of an undo button combined with the hard limit to the move counter really becomes tiresome. I like the creative mechanic of planning your dice faces accordingly where a move left or right will decide the proper positioning of the faces so planning ahead is crucial, but when the puzzles are long or involve teleporters it is impossible to actually strategize and without an undo it is trial and reset with each error that might have been made unknowingly at the start of the stage. Would be a good time with an undo or without the punishing move limit forcing a reset just for attemting the stage.

Game description key-points: This Gamash, a challenging move counter puzzle with very mediocre wrapping Overview: Easy and simple to control the cube, as the game is very basic. Linear level progression, just forward, with slightly increased difficulty each time. And the worst part, not an enjoyable view, the thirst though is to drop off.

Square's Route is a very nice puzzle solving game! The graphics are ok, for the type of game, and the color palette is vivid and colorful. The game mechanic is very simple but for such a simple mechanic, the game can get very challenging. Overall is a very nice game at a perfectly acceptable price . I strongly recommend!

Cool little puzzle game, mobile port but in this case it doesn't really matter, there is not mobile cancer here :)

The core concept is sound and the graphics are sweet but the game has some basic quality of life issues that are deal breakers. The game desperately needs an undo or rewind button. It is really easy to make a mistake, either by messing up the logic of the puzzle, or even just accidentally pressing the wrong key. As the puzzles get longer, the chances of this increase. When you do mess up and have to restart, the game goes through a painfully long reset process with a splash screen, rather than resetting your cube to square one. This is distracting and long enough that you might forget what it was that you were doing. Between those two issues, a relatively simple game just becomes punishing. It stops being fun and starts to feel like drudgery. FWIW I got to level 11
