About Star Apprentice: Magical Murder Mystery
As the titular Star Apprentice Minnie, you will traverse a magical train, collecting evidence and confronting suspects. Uncover clues that will allow you to confront the quirky cast of characters in chaotic bullet hell Confrontation scenes. Blast away the enemy's contradictions, and discover the truth behind the mystery aboard the Scarlet Express!
Throughout the game, you'll grapple with a colourful cast of mysterious magical suspects, including an obsessed fangirl, an alcoholic, and a business tycoon. Will the Star Apprentice be able to rise up to the challenge and find the culprit behind the mystery, or will she be stuck in her mentor’s shadow forever?
This game was built by a group of students at the University of Alberta for a game development term project. As such, the game is a free download for all!

i loved this story.
after booting up the game i searched up curious cat catastrophe on youtube surprised to not find anything then was shocked as i made it to the title change

Really nice demo, the combination of bullet hell and detective gameplay works great! My only complaint is that there's no penalty to pressing on incorrect statements so you can just press on everything. Had a great time, excited for the full game!
Detectives, magical girls, bullet hell, and a cat named Snowy...I love it. Please keep making fun and charming games at Will-o-Works! You guys are doing great!
just realized that it is easier for me to review civil procedure than it is to go through ONE practice round of bullet hell. still fun though
