About Danganronpa: Trigger Happy Havoc
Danganronpa is a murder mystery visual novel where you investigate brutal crimes committed by your classmates and expose the killer through intense class trial debates. Stand out from other mystery games with its unique blend of detective work, high-stakes wordplay combat, and dark psychological storytelling that constantly twists your expectations.
It's up to you to find out who Monokuma really is, and why you've been taken from the world you once knew. But be careful what you wish for—sometimes there’s nothing more deadly than the truth...
Key Features
- Daily Life, Deadly Life: Trapped in a school-turned-prison, students are murdering each other one by one. You’ll have to investigate each incident, search for clues, and talk to your classmates to try and get to the bottom of each brutal case!
- Mock Trial: The nefarious Monokuma serves as judge, jury, and executioner as you engage in deadly wordplay, going back and forth with suspects, dissecting their statements and firing their words back at them to expose their lies!
- Popularity Contest: Sway classmates to your side in each investigation, squeezing information from them to figure out who did it. And when you do, turn up the heat in a variety of timing and reflex-based game systems to uncover the truth and save your skin!
- Steam Features: Supports Steam Achievements, Steam Cloud and Steam Trading Cards.

So... Danganronpa... I wasn't expecting much from this game. I saw the bear and remembered I'd seen him somewhere, so I decided to buy and play it with low expectations, and wow. This game blew my mind. Gosh, I've never been this addicted to a game since Viva Piñata or The Sims. The gameplay is really cool; it makes you draw your own conclusions and have your own suspects, and unfortunately for me, most of the time those were wrong... Some of the plot twists are unexpected, and the "punishment" scenes are amazing and so ironically accurate, just like poetic justice. Even though Monokuma is such a ♥♥♥♥♥ and a pain in the ass, I like him as an executioner. And I think the character design and lore are well-built for what it is—I mean, it's not the greatest lore, but at least I liked it. Love the game. Love the gameplay. Love the characters. Love Sakura, my goddess. I tolerate Monokuma. And ♥♥♥♥ you, Byakuya. Totally recommended game. 4.5 / 5.0 stars. c: The beautiful thing about this game is the freaking little hands of all the characters.
Amazing game. Went in with basically no knowledge of it besides the vague notion it was about kids killing each other and Phoenix Wright-style trials, what I got was waaaaay better than that. Don't look up anything online or you'll get spoiled. Don't get too attached to anyone either cause you are gonna be in for heartbreak (this advice won't work, you'll get attached to half the cast anyway and will be devastated).
its really fun, watch out of the class trials though they can be tricky
great but toko is a bum
