Strawhart is an action-puzzler where you’ll master physics-defying magic in a quest to start a cult and resurrect an ancient evil. The realm of Acre is beset by a foe so powerful that no hero living can hope to save the day. But don’t worry, you’ve got a plan!
Defy Physics and Common Sense
Face off against over 80 mind-bending puzzles using an increasingly powerful array of magic. You’ll leave physics behind as you learn to phase through walls, shrug off gravity, transmute your surroundings, and weaponize the common pumpkin. Just never forget: your powers stem from the whims of an ancient, unhinged evil.
Build a Cult
Gather cultists from across Acre to your cause. Lead eldritch rituals and grow your power, all while hiding your followers from your mother. Bargain with an unknowable evil as you try to control the last, best hope of Acre. Watch your homestead evolve as you meet and recruit a gallery of questionable characters.Face Unforgiving Finales
Each land you visit has its own unique finale encounter, where your wits and skills will be pushed past their limits.

Strawhart is an incredibly atmospheric and comfy game that truly is a pleasure to play on the steam deck. I've haven't gotten too far into the story just yet, but everything about it seems to easily itch that fall aesthetic i always crave. Very nice hidden gem. Had a few a-ha moments that made me feel like a genius. Graphics/art have a charming "jank" to them. Definitely get if on sale!1 found this helpful
Very atmospheric, well paced, and well designed. The puzzles are challenging enough to keep you interested but not so tough where you feel like it's unfair. The game also rewards exploration and encourages taking on harder puzzles by offering collectibles and a bit of lore behind challenges for those who want to try. But imo the brightest part is Strawhart himself. He gives the game a strong extra dose of charm and wit that makes you happy to see him whenever he shows up. All in all, a super fun game and well worth a playthrough. I know I look forward to doing a completionist run :)1 found this helpful
[h1] 6/10 - Medieval Magic Portal [/h1] Quite a fun medieval magical based Portal like game! [hr][/hr][h2] Gameplay [/h2] Throughout the game there is a mix of different powers you gain access to, which all have different effects based on whether you left or right click, with some levels having a great mix of them combined in multiple steps! One downside I will make note of is that some gameplay elements can change based on your max fps setting... in the level with lasers I had to reduce down to 60 fps for it to be normal non sped up speed! [hr][/hr][h2] Narrative [/h2] Not the most compelling story but it was something light hearted chill enjoy here and there as going through the different levels! [hr][/hr][h2] Visuals [/h2] Nice soft comforting visual design throughout the world. [hr][/hr][h2] Sounds [/h2] Decent sound design, all different abilities had their own subtle sound differences.
It doesn't seem to quite all come together but it's still pretty fun
Pretty frustrating and unforgiving. Was much lower quality than I expected from the store page.
