Knock-knock

This is one of the worst horror games I've played in my life, it is obtuse, repetitive, and nothing happens, the dread comes from that stupid clock in the corner of the screen. The gameplay revolves around finding clocks, opening doors, turning the lights on, and avoiding ghosts that can randomly spawn right over you, the game feels like a security job where you walk around doing absolutely nothing. The game is a trauma dump, all of the "supernatural" events happen inside the character's head, the mansion isn't haunted or cursed, the forest isn't haunted, cursed or even alive, it is just some guy suffering from nightmares in the middle of nowhere. The art is great, the style reminds me of the cartoonist Jhonen Vasquez, and the sound effects are well made.

Feels random. Very frustrating.

What a good idea to have the endgame requirements solely be based in rng. Did the notes you guys find say that the writer wanted the game to be very punishing and rng based?

Очень атмосферно, лес как будто снился раньше, в целом игра стоит своих денег, потому что игр с подобной уникальной подачей и стилем больше нет и не будет скорее всего.

This game is sick but in the positive way. The main character is also psychically sick and he's just fighting with his own hallucinations.
