Bit.Tripped Over
The idea is good, but to me it lacks readibility and rythm. Also the random generation need to be finetuned. I'm curious to see what you could make in the future
Absolute garbage
Bad
I like the premise of the idea, based on the information shared about its design and PCG system from the developer's youtube channel. There is something here that COULD be great with some more work, but as it is its damn near unplayable. These things really need to be fixed: - There is NO air control which is a serious problem as there are numerous launchers that fling you miles, very frequently right into a pit. Either the game needs to add air control, or magnetic attraction to the platforms. - The minimum jump distance is not compatible with the tight platform spacing, Jumping at the end of a platform resuts in you flying directly over the next platform and land in a pit between two platforms, and the only way to avoid it is to jump right at the start of the platforms. - The UI controls are horrendously inconsistent, with the 'back' action assigned to at least two different keys depending on the ui screen. - The jump feels very floaty, 'mood jump syndrome'. The dev needs to play 'platformer toolkit'. - The forced wait times in the UI are very annoying.
Terrible game, last update completely ruïned all balance, several skill instantly break the game when you upgrade the skills, at least 1 achievement is completely broken (the one for completely). You often glitch through platforms, if you get reasonably far occaionally you will just die in mid-air, some skills don't even work and the buffs you can buy break the game since they're way OP. If you want to play a funny looking platformer for 20 minutes, tthis would work, just don't buy any upgrades. But mostly this is just a poor broken mess and the devs are completely ingoring their bug-report threat.
