About 嗜憶 Swallow
Swallow is a first-person psychological horror game with a heavy focus on story and exploration. Based on a true story, describe an unsolved case that took place on an isolated island of 20th century England. Players take control of a lighthouse keeper to uncover the truth.
You wake up in the lighthouse keeper's house, the familiar lighthouse, the unchanging work, what should have been another ordinary shift. But I felt a deep uneasiness, and the island was no longer quiet. On the "right path" guided by the world, suffering from the oppression of reality or psychological influence, gradually doubting themselves, along with thinking, gradually rewriting their own lives.
The game use psychological horror method to present, so in the game there will be no zombies or monsters to hunt down the player's situation, presenting the real objects that will appear in reality, using the placement of objects to narrate the scene, and will also use psychology, sound effects and space conversion to create a horror atmosphere.
If the game texture is blurred, you can go to OPTION to adjust the game resolution, the game preset is 1080p.
This game is made by five college students from Taiwan. Thank you very much for playing and your support.

The game is pretty cheap and on discount it's basically free. That said it is a glorified walking simulator. The story isn't that enchanting and the atmosphere/horror elements quickly diminish when compared to the bigger part of watching and touching doors and taking damage unpredictably. Having no freedom of choice / choices matter whatsoever and the lack of a sprint key turns this down for me.2 found this helpful
Swallow is a game where you play as a ...... you know, I have no idea what this game was about. Pro's - The graphics looked good - Controls were easy to learn and use - Map environments will change at times when you turn around. Con's - Unfortunately, that the changing of the map 'effect' gets old as that is the majority of the game - Its a walking simulator where you're in complete darkness at times - No story - 3 jumpscares in the game - This should've been free 1/5 Swallow is a horrible game and not worth the purchase. My rating system: 1 = Horrible game. Don't even look at it. 2 = Bad game. 3 = Its neither good nor bad - Average. 4 = Worth Playing. 5 = Must play!1 found this helpful
Very slow pace game, kind of boring. Very very obvious story ending. Also very short game. Landscapes and scenes were nice tho, there was some nice moments.
Alexa, play "Swallowed" by Bush
Shallow story and weak dialog. Overall nothing particularly unique to see here, IMO.
Really wanted to like this game, but unfortunately it didn't do much for me. I also managed to drop into the sandbox and break the entire game at some point, and some dialogue just cut off weirdly at times. It's very pretty-looking and short though, so getting it on sale was acceptable.
