SWOLLEN TO BURSTING UNTIL I AM DISAPPEARING ON PURPOSE

I have some mixed feelings with this game, on one side the visuals and music are superb, the 3D is really good and it's very Yume Nikki if you ignore all the text. The effects are really creative, there are some nice puzzles and it gets genuinely unsettling at times. I was having a lot of fun at the beginning but this game devolved a lot into pixel hunting, that is no strange on a Yume Nikki like game, but it is very annoying and can be a huge time sink doing nothing but walking and clicking on random stuff until you find something under very specific and often ridiculous conditions. I did finished or at least so I thing because it is very vague about...everything, there is a lot to be polished but then again it's a free indie game that does excel on a lot of other stuff so I guess that can be overlooked. A lot of it's strengths become an issue because they overstay their welcome. Ultimately if you are here for a good story and all that comes with good psychological RPGmaker horror, you gonna have a good time, on the other if you wanna have fun with a game...well, maybe not gonna enjoy it as much, still I recommend to at least give it a try.

One of those little left-field indie titles that gets jammed in your brain real hard after playing. Heavy themes but lots of good jokes and goofs and gags along the way—kinda like life. A very light RPG twist to this one, but more for fans of exploration games and fetchquestathons (Yume Nikki, Lisa the First, Farethere City, etc.)

Hmm, I enjoyed it initially quite a bit, but it started to infuriate me with it’s obtuse BS after a while and I needed a guide to finish it. And then it's ending was so vague and something to do with depression or something and I just didn’t care anymore. It's free though, so give it a go if you like the vibe.

Extremely good game. Highly recommend, don't read ♥♥♥♥ and go in blind. Only advice I have is the [spoiler]compass head is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mandatory for navigating the maze[/spoiler].

Really bad "you aren't high enough level for this" gating. Bad design.

Only made it a few minutes in and even that was an endurance test for me. Every line in this game is the game dev desperately trying to show how cute and witty they are. It’s exhausting. It’s amazing how Earthbound, one of the greatest games of all time, has inspired some of the worst games of all time. Makers of awful nihilistic Motherlikes don’t understand that Itoi liked people, and liked America, at least when he made Mother 2. But the makers of Motherlikes are misanthropes, they simply don’t like people, much less gamers. Being led from one side of the map to the other during the litter fetch quest reminded me of the part in Lisa where some shyster has the player jumping off a cliff over and over again. It’s pointless, just a way to mock someone foolish enough to play their game. Who has the patience for paying to be mocked by someone who believes in nothing?
