About How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Enjoy the End of the World
My game is a turn-based RPG Maker game where the Saturn-worshipping Rich Ruling-Elite unleash military, hospital personnel, government agencies and hordes of Saturnalian Monsters onto the Earth for the purpose of eradicating the poor, huddled masses and it is up to you to survive this hilarious adventure?
Stop worrying, enjoy the "end of the world"!
HILTSWAETEOTW employs a survival-horror inspired turn-based combat system. Use your guns until your enemies display enough damage to cue you into switching over to melee weapons and take them down without using too much ammo. You'll need that ammo for the sick bosses that populate the world. Better yet? Avoid enemies and save as much as ammo as you can for bosses!
Have "angels" unlock your hidden human potentials. (Chakra System)
Enjoy a traumatic yet, hilarious story about the few poor people smart enough to take on the rich and their world dominating agenda. The humor is perfect for anyone who enjoys adult cartoons. Take on the evil Gil Bates and his secret society of inbred rich misfits to restore some semblance of peace in the world.
Foods and drugs affect the body in both positive and negative ways, explore which work best for you.
Save the kids from torture then turn them loose onto the world to make it better place! Hint: Save the kids!
Finish your path down the dreaded "Spirit Journey" in the "3d" realm so you don't have to reincarnate again. Meet God and have God smack you across the effing head! Enjoy multiple endings depending on your choices!

A very amusing, anti-establishment RPG game with a lot of swearing. If you're not willing to accept almost everything being made fun of, then you won't enjoy this as much as you should. Gameplay-wise, it's perfectly fine. Characters are nicely animated, with nicely drawn enemies. Everything moves smoothly. Fight sequences are standard for RPG Maker, so it should be easy to play. There are a few technically issues, that are more annoying than anything else. They are more to do with ambience than anything else. It's well worth the price.5 found this helpful
Overall Rating: 0/5 Stars Pros: Ambitious Vision: The developer's enthusiasm and belief in their game is evident, albeit misplaced. Cons: Disjointed Flow: The game lacks a coherent structure, making progression feel random and unsatisfying. Terrible Writing: Dialogue is cringe-worthy, filled with clichés and attempts at humor that fall flat. Detailed Review: The Concept: "HILTSWAETEOTW" was pitched as a groundbreaking title by its developer, who proclaimed it the "greatest game on earth." Unfortunately, the reality is starkly different. It's a classic case of ambition not aligning with ability. Gameplay Mechanics: The gameplay is a series of missteps. The combat system, which should be a game's cornerstone, is tediously simplistic and frustrating. It gives you the option to "escape" the fight. However, the pathing that the enemies have is horrible. You can be very much out of eye sight of the enemy, and you will see them run right towards you, not even giving you time to leave Narrative and Writing: The writing is where the game truly falters. It's evident that the developer aimed for a quirky and engaging story but ended up with a narrative that's disjointed and confusing. The…2 found this helpful
I was afraid and worried about the end of the world...but till i learned to enjoy the end of it, i get pew at the bad guys and hang out with the weird crew and pew at the bad guys. You got the Dookies, save the dais,. And still have some bubble gum.
I've enjoyed playing so far, it's challenging but entertaining.
I've only been playing for a little while, just barely under an hour at this point. My initial experience has been positive, and so far this is definitely a game I'd recommend. The world is thus far very encouraging for exploration, well designed enemies, and the humor has been pretty enjoyable thus far. Some of the comedy feels a bit forced, but I think it's just a measure of trying to put a lot of humor into a short time period. Combat is pretty simplistic in the first hour, though I definitely am liking how you can decide to let people leave during a battle instead of killing them. I'll be back with a full review when I finish it, but for now I'm having a good time with it.
