[h1] Short Analysis[/h1] Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Tailypo:The Game. To begin with the game has only a maximum of three hours of gameplay and I am sure it could be completed in less.Priced at nearly £16 it is way too expensive and doesn’t reflect its price tag in quality, story or looks. The opening sequence of the game took me nearly an hour to complete because frame rates were dropping to 3FPS and it felt very disorientating. I kept getting stuck on mountain sides and behind trees and it was incredibly dark and difficult to see where you were going. It was a very frustrating experience. The game is a mixture of genres but doesn’t excel in any area. One half point and click adventure and one-half survival. To begin with you are located in the city. [h1]Tailypo: The Game[/h1] Tailypo appeared out of nowhere and I was curious to check it out. It's a first-person story-based walking simulator with some choices in dialogues + survival and horror elements. If you played Firewatch you may remember some kind of an introduction in the beginning of the game. Tailypo starts the same way and this part is actually good (around 30 minutes of playtime). Almost all aspects about this part of the game are good: + A decent story with a good storytelling. + Ok music and voiceovers, decent graphics and good performance overall. + Attention to details with some cool stuff from 80's. But after a promising start main character has to retreat into the wild after some tragic events in his life. And it's a breaking point where things become tragic for players. - Gameplay in actual wilderness is so atrociously bad that it's hard to describe (imagine a school project survival on Unity) and even harder to accept after relatively good start. - Not only gameplay is horrible in this part of the game - visuals are bad too.
