As a fourth-year Law student with a part-time job at the Catal Café, you might as well end up going bald from stress. Fortunately, you can keep in touch with your peculiar group of friends and Daniel, your long-distance boyfriend, through your favorite messaging app (😉). They help you see the fun side of your busy life, as well as keep every hair in its place (or not).
Now you've just moved out of home and into your new apartment, and everyone knows that means... party time! Music, alcohol, laughter, kisses... Wait, what?! Kisses?! Your memories are blurry, but somehow you clearly recall the feeling of someone's lips on yours. A warm and pleasant feeling. Hold on!! Pleasant!? 😳 Who did you kiss that night? Will you be able to find out with the help of your girlfriends-turned-detective? How will that kiss affect your relationship with Daniel? And most importantly - how much does a good wig cost 😱?
Text Your Life is a mobile phone chat simulator that lets you put yourself in the shoes of our protagonist, a female university student with a group of eccentric friends and a love life that has suddenly turned somewhat... complicated. -Play as if it were a real messaging app. Chat, receive and make calls, browse the profiles of your contacts...
-Shape the protagonist's personality with every choice you make, as well as her level of affinity with every character. Your personality and your choices will affect the course of the story.
7 different routes, and 6 unique love interests. Will you continue your relationship with Daniel, or will you catch feelings for someone else? Surely you won't end up in a love triangle with two best friends, right...?
-Only Chapters 1 and 2 are available for now, with more than 108.600 words of content and roughly 904 choices (about 8 hours and 30 minutes for playthrough). Make a choice every 20 messages at most! Already finished the available content? Play again and change your choices to experience completely different playthroughs! -This game was originally written in Spanish, and it's been completely translated into English. What are you waiting for? Log in, create your profile, put an inspiring quote that makes no sense as your status, and start chatting right now!⏳Why does the game take so much time to load, especially after choosing/changing the language?👉 On some devices, the Android version of TYL may take a few minutes to load. FIRST OFF TWO PEOPLE MAKING THIS GAME ALONE???!!!1 HOLY GUCACMOLE HATS OFF TO YOUS TWO HONESTLY DAMN... what an amazing game.. i honestly lost myself within this. i stumbled upon it thinking it would be much like the others i have played- but was instantly humbled when the phone feature popped up. and then when expecting voice i was pleasantly surprised once again background noise instead.. genius! the love that has been poured into the development is off the roofs. thank you for ADDING PERONALITY TO THE options of text and sarcasm i honestly love it its like nothing i have played. it saddens me that when i found this game thinking it was the fulll thing to see the end with A HOOK!!!! TTATT goshhhhhh but ive read the explanation.. and i agree with it being just two people creating this masterpiece. im so glad yous didnt plan to drop it.. when reading it i thought it was that and got sad.. thank you for still sticking with text your life. as sad as i may be, ill gladly await your return with a full product and to answer your question if yous should make it free or not i say you should put a price, you both seriously deserve it!! i NEED to know what happens next
As what it says from the title, your life as the protaganist is played through exchanged chats and calls between your friends navigating college life, friendship, and romance. I think it took a while and after finishing 1st chapter I can say I finally get hooked following my character's stories. But from that moment on, I thoroughly enjoyed seeing how this group of friends unravel mc's story. As all visual novel games goes, there are characters that stands out to you more than the rest, I really enjoyed all of them but especially emma's, samuel's, marcs' and lucas' chats. i would love to be emma's, olivia's, and nora's friends in reality. But rebeca's cool too xD. I also love that the bgm is not too distracting from reading all their convos! Can't wait for the full release!! <3
A good effort at an interactive texting game, with some genuinely cute and funny moments, but there are enough characters that it was hard to tell everyone apart at first, and I'm more interested in the friendly banter than the romance routes. It's like reliving a bit of college all over again, except with a tad more partying and horsing around than I actually participated in lol. -------------------------------------------- [b]Edit after finishing the available content:[/b] Would still recommend this at about a 6.5/10 rating, mainly because of the "Girlbosses." The girls' friendship and interactions were endearing and sometimes goofy, they all had their quirks, but they never stopped being fiercely loyal to and supportive of each other and that's a part of female relationships that's not often displayed in media (and, at least, that I haven't encountered much of myself - I've mainly seen more of the toxic and parasitic side). So that part was a refreshing change of pace for me. Even the way they interacted with the guys in the Supergroup chat was hilarious and well written. If this had been the entirety of the game, it would have been a 10/10 from me. I was significantly less…
