The Best Visual Novel Game on Steam After nearly 500 hours of playtime, I can confidently say this is the absolute peak of interactive visual novels. Why it's worth your time: Phenomenal Writing: The stories span incredible genres (fantasy, sci-fi, horror, historical romance) and your choices genuinely matter. Amazing Visuals & Audio: The character designs, outfits, and backgrounds are stunning. The soundtracks are beautiful and highly immersive. Generous F2P Model: Unlike many other interactive apps, the developers are incredibly generous with free diamond rushes and tea party events.

i like the story, but wish that I could just buy a full book for a set amount of money. The fact i have to buy teacups to replay games makes me question each choice and use walkthroughs which reduces the amount of fun I could be having.

I came for the story… I stayed for Lucifer. At first, I wasn’t even sure about him. But the more I played, the more I realized—he’s not just another love interest. He’s intense, unpredictable, and somehow impossible to ignore. Lucifer doesn’t chase you. He makes you feel like you’re the one falling… slowly, dangerously. Every scene with him has this tension that keeps you hooked. If you like confident, slightly dangerous characters who don’t show everything at once, he’s the reason to play. Honestly? I started this game for fun. Now I’m emotionally attached. 10/10 — would fall for Lucifer again. lucifer doesn't make me lose control.. he is my control ♡🤰

Some stories are good, others are hit and miss; it will depend on you, the reader, tbh. Negative: -The constant need for mobile game nonsense, like diamonds, to make any choices or progress at all. It's not cheap, either, forcing you to rely on their diamond rush events to play at all, as they refuse to make the entire story a one time purchase instead. -Their are suspicions of ai use. -Some of the writing is... off, or half assed. Like the sex scenes that cost you upwards over over 100 diamonds. -The paper doll avatars of the player and npcs are mid, copied from an uncannily attempt to recreate some actor (netflix Lucifer is the most egregious), and their expressions can be creepy (especially the smiles). -The authors despise polygamy. You are route locked. Enjoy having your sexuality not even considered.
