I will update my review as i continue to advance into the game. However i find the game's manner repetetive and stale. 15 minutes in and i am already cold away from the game. I expected philosophical views and files to tamper to solve puzzles. Sadly i will play the rest of the game just to modify my review in the future however i cannot verify i will even change it into a positive recommendation. Still i liked the idea, i wish it was put through a better development with psychological horror elements and puzzles that made you think harder than this, thinking onto the elements the game gave you. However the first fragment influenced most of my review, i find it ridiculous to place it behind a year of waiting. I wish i had the time to run so deep inside the files to edit things to see behind it. Still, i have also read reviews from other people and it just made my opinion a tad bit worse. Still i think we should thank the dev for at least trying to attend such a difficult demographic of philosophical views and thought. As this part of the community is difficult to attend while being overthinking. cheers

A pretentious unpolished waste of time, frankly. As far as I know, it was abandoned.

"The 52 Fragments" is a low key asset flip at face value, but it gets worse (yes, it is possible to get even worse than just being a creatively bankrupt collection of other people's game assets). Now, we all know the disastrous consequences of amateur developers getting delusions of grandeur and incinerating $100 dumping garbage on Steam, this happens a lot (roughly 6 times a day, in fact). Worse, however, is when amateur developers with delusions of grandeur get all pretentious about their asset flips... which is what happened here. This was intended to be one of those utter garbage "augmented reality" puzzle games where you interact with clues provided around the place (not just in the game) that were intended to be added over time. One "fragment" per week for a year (hence the "52" in the title). Definitely pretentious, and definitely delusional to think gamers will stick with a garbage asset flip for a whole year. it has a great idea but otherwise i'm not sure if it's really worth it, more of a time waster and see some short games and a few somewhat possible secrets. Also at the time of this review the game isnt done since all fragments arent here and the game might be dead

The "games" are pointless and not entertaining in the least. Rating: 1/10
