Short and free point-and-click adventure. It didn't start well with being stuck on one screen, not able to talk to the other characters and progress relying on finding a hidden hotspot. It got slightly better after that despite needing to find non-obvious hotspots and not being able to converse with the others again. I saw the story "twist" coming a mile away. Later on, there was a long scene where I couldn't do anything, just watch. It was boring and didn't need to drag on. In fact, I'd evaluate about one third of my playthrough, if not more, was spent watching non-interactive scenes. It's not because it's free that it should get a free pass. A disappointment.

A standard point-and-click affair that doesn't offer anything interesting in terms of gameplay or story. Dialogue is slow and clunky, and being unable to talk to your friends makes it difficult to care about the characters. The game is technically sound, so I hope to see the dev work on something with a more interesting narrative some time in the future.

Not what I was expecting, but enjoyable nonetheless. A short, simple, heartwarming adventure reminiscent of classic point & click adventure titles.

I recommend playing The Campsite. It's well designed - the game is neither too hard nor too easy, and if you do get stuck you are able to hit the tab button to show hints of what objects are interactable. It's a wholesome fun game that's well worth playing. A point and click adventure, awesome pixel art, an actual plot - there's lots to love here. My favorite part was the art. The hand-drawn pixel art is so detailed! The only thing I didn't like was that people's legs looked kinda weirdly blocky, unlike the high level of detail shown elsewhere in the game. Animations were awesome, very impressed, a pleasure to play this game. The music was also awesome and was a perfect fit for the game. Game mechanics are fun and easy. The UI is very clear and explains controls to the user right away so you're not lost. The only things I didn't like so much was a very long scene towards the end that seems kinda overly long, and I never really figured out what the game meant when it says "the shadows conceal a watchful presence" - this never really got explained. Or maybe I didn't do stuff in the correct order to reveal that. In any case, the gameplay is still really awesome. As a person who d…
