The biggest reason I don't recommend The Crush House is because it's not the game it appears to be. The premise is fun and the characters look interesting, but they're shallow and the whole experience feels empty. The challenges are fine, and the sort-of mysterious main story gives you something to keep playing for, but it almost feels like that mystery exists because the core gameplay isn't interesting enough on its own. Oh, and the "Romance" tag definitely shouldn't be on this. Superficial, randomized flirting is not romance. The same characters who start the day flirting can end it in a physical fight. I know that sounds entertaining, but somehow this game takes that concept and makes it boring. Cool concept, disappointing execution.5 found this helpful
Ok maybe it's because I'm a millennial, BUT this game is a 8/10 I had a lot of fun with it. There are some bugs that can totally freeze up your game resulting in you having to restart the WHOLE DAY that are pretty unfortunate (especially if you're n achievement hunter like me who got bugged out of the same 2 achievements 2x on one and 4x on the other :TheRedCrownEvil: )
love the concept + unique style of game! would consider it puzzley when it comes to figuring out how to serve each audience. lots of charm and personality!
Bought this game on sale and I enjoyed every minute of it! The art, the humor, the nostalgia and trashiness of old reality TV.. This game has it all. I can see why some people say it can get repetitive but, personally, I didn't get bored at all. Fun characters, visually pleasing and all the little subtle silly things kept me hooked. Hope to see more like this from this Dev :)
I love my creepy love island simulator :)
This is definitely worth getting on sale. It is fun, but no room to continue to play over and over again. It's also a bit confusing and I almost stopped at one point because I thought the game was over.
