What Steam players say

Players praise this psychological horror game for its engaging narrative, emotional impact, and clever puzzle-solving that builds tension throughout without becoming monotonous. The twisted story about a protagonist preparing dinner while confronting a troubling past delivers genuine scares and thought-provoking themes around war and guilt, with solid atmosphere and graphics for an indie title. Some note the game is relatively short and involves considerable walking between story beats, though the low price point makes it worthwhile for horror enthusiasts, and the developer has been responsive
I finished the game and I'm fearing thanksgiving's turkey... I would describe the dinner as a short horror slice of life in which you discover the turbulent past of our protagonist Erick while he struggles to set the dinner for his wife. You'll enjoy this game if you like psychological horror pieces about war, friendship and the guilt after coming home.3 found this helpful
GREAT GAME! Super messed up, but really was a nice story and twist. I found the lore and narrative very interesting and kinda want to know more about the world Erick has endured. Really well done for a break out horror title. Can't wait to see more from this dev!2 found this helpful
Short horror indie game in what looks like Unity engine. It's a linear story with a lot of walking, but there is a bit of gameplay and interesting bits.1 found this helpful

I like the horror aspects BUT the game itself communicates poorly on how to get a solution. The bathroom and radio puzzle are definitely what drags this game outside of the time it takes to finish. The achievements could drag the clock longer but most task felt like padding for time. The outside area looking the same as the demo was odd but so was the fact there were barely improvements since then. Sadly as much hope as I had for this, I will be refunding as it didn't meet expectations and I even thought the game broke but it was actually a rhythm puzzle. Btw I had to look at a video on the two puzzles mention prior and funny enough we both had trouble but figured it out through trial and error rather than "AHHHH I GET IT". The atmosphere is the only thing in my option saving the game. You should buy if your ok with all that and need a hour game to finish or 2 to 3 hours if your aiming for achievements.
