at first I was like :O) and then I was like :O( but then I was :'O) A phenomenal game with a lovely balance of silly, strange, grotesque, and serious. On my list of instant recommends. The art was wonderful and scratched an itch for me and the story was lovely. The combat system was simple but still a lot of fun, I love gambling!!! Really can't say enough about this game. There were a few tiny issues with some of the writing with miniscule grammatical errors but nothing detrimental to the story. I wish i had my mint chocolate chip ice cream...1 found this helpful
What a wild game. Raw and amazing character developments, amazing music, and I got so good at delivering food by the end! :0)!!!!
It's weird It's fun and it's hungry
The presentation of this story is unique and fun, and really makes use of the limited perspective. I don't think this story has "never been done before" but it is very worth experiencing, especially at the cost. It goes by pretty quickly and will keep you engaged especially with the silly creatures inside.
I bought this on a whim because the sale price dropped it to about $2 grand total. I went into it expecting very little and thought I knew the upcoming storybeats as the narrative started to form. I was right about some of them, but I did not in any way predict the jarring reveal on the lead-up to to the finale. Go in blind as possible, be ready to eat ♥♥♥♥ a couple times due to bad RNG, and simply let the story unfold. You'll come out of this one a little different than you were before. A charming and unfortunate game.
Straightforward as an RPG, but a very compelling story that's definitely worth experiencing without spoiling yourself.
