It basically involves talking to everyone in the house and then you will learn what events or dialogues move the story forward, but you must be quick before your social battery depletes. If you fail to solve all the missions before your battery runs out then you have to start the story again, and hopefully use the knowledge from your previous run to make the next one quicker. Holiday family dinners are basically hardcore boss fights where you’re forced to dodge, parry, and occasionally speed-run your way through them to keep the chaos at bay. You show up for mashed potatoes, and instantly your uncle ambushes you with an interrogation about your love life like you’re on a trial, while your aunt might want to recruit you into the latest “definitely-not-a-pyramid-scheme.” Your influencer cousin is livestreaming everyone’s emotional breakdowns for clout, your sister is quietly spiraling into an existential crisis, and your uncle (yes, the same one; he’s basically the miniboss and final boss) gets drunk and unleashes a barrage of painfully unfunny dad jokes. This was a genuinely creative and enjoyable game with an idea that really resonated with me as an introvert. I had a great time earning 100% of the achievements, and the humor throughout the game got quite a few laughs out of me. And let's be honest, Greg's joke at the dinner table was absolutely hilarious. I'm already looking forward to seeing what the developers create next!

A mug of hot chocolate on a winter's day, that's what this feels like! A warm and cozy little game that's perfect for the holiday season. The family dynamics are relatable and each family member feels like you've known them for years. The dialogues are funny and clever, and between all the insensitive insults lies a story that's surprisingly therapeutic and wholesome.

Really enjoyed this game! The visual style is super cute and charming, it immediately gives the game its own personality. But what stood out the most to me is the humor, it is genuinely funny and lands really well, which is honestly pretty rare (especially loved the humor tied to interactable objects😉). You can tell a lot of care and creativity went into this. Keep it up, would love to see more like this in the future.

Cute, chill and short game. Rather good for being the developers' first. Could use a bit of polish on the controls (alternative buttons to allow for only one hand on the keyboard and one on the mouse) and on the dialogue speed (e.g. press a button to show the text instantly, and to move on to the next dialogue step in cutscenes). Easy 100% achievements (<1 hour with a regular playthrough followed by cleanup with a guide).
