You are a popular Urbex vlogger whose channel revolves around exploring abandoned and "paranormal" places. For your newest video, you are going to film in a vacant and decaying mansion in which, many years earlier, a horrific tragedy occurred. However, you quickly come to realize that things are a bit different from your other expeditions. The stories about this home seem to be true...The Dire is a psychological found footage horror game that revolves around main character Dean Holt and a dark and deserted mansion. You will explore the grim history of the decrepit home and experience first hand what has been left inside of it all these years

Doesn't support 21:9 at all (16:9 image stretches over your 21:9 and there's no option to alter it) The game itself was okay but not really too captivaing or scary. 2/53 found this helpful

I gave it a fair shot… but the visuals just weren’t it for me. I get that it’s going for a specific aesthetic, but instead of immersive, it just made me dizzy. The flashlight is also way too intense, to the point where I couldn’t even see the action prompts at the start. After about five minutes, I tapped out.
this was a good game
An enjoyable little indie game! I quite liked the environment and monsters, although there were some minor things that could be improved (Some of the dialogue had spelling errors, and the flashlight tends to bleach out pictures and papers when you're at a readable distance from them.) The multiple endings were fun to find! I found the MC's impressive bible collection in his room quite humorous.
