About Abandoned Souls

Plot:
The player takes on the role of a video blogger, Tim, who loves to explore abandoned places. This time Tim sets off to explore an old abandoned hospital in the midst of a deep forest, to capture exclusive footage for his viewers.

Average game time: 30 to 60 minutes.

Game Features:
- Almost too realistic graphics!
- Extremely immersive sound design - almost every sound was recorded specifically for this project!
- Screamers and creepy atmosphere - the game has plenty!
- Game genre: Horror, Walking simulator.
- Made with Unreal Engine 5.

It's not scary, I'd even say it's a bit boring. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it.2 found this helpful
No controller support. I just want to chill on the couch and stream to my tv.1 found this helpful
Good game. Felt a bit intense near the end. Great atmosphere and use of sounds. Short but entertaining.
It's ok, considering length and price, if you like urbex and walking simulators the games by Tomcuk are actually nice in their own way. Many things are recycled but when in sale and in the bundle, a playthrough can be fun. They usuall last 30 minutes, one hour max.
Another great game! I wish brisk walk option is more faster though.
Just about positive for the discounted price I paid. Normally love these atmospheric games that live or die on creating tension, such The Light Keeper and Grave Yard Shift . This starts quite positively - I like the general mood, sound design and the visual look. But the scares are not timed effectively/not effective. My character responds to something, but I've not seen it! The most annoying thing...Achievements! Constantly popping up at dramatic points, destroying any tension. I got 18 in 3 hours play. For those interested, it played okay on the Steam Deck.
