About The Final Battle
In the beginning there was a sword, a shield and six crystals. Forged in folklore, the enchantment of the sword and shield brought harmony to the land.
How they were stolen by the evil wizard Suzar and recovered by a group of stout adventurers is told in the Chronicles: the chapter of the Legend of the Sword. Now the wizard has the artifacts again and is threatening to use his mutant army to steep the land of Anar in the blackest night.
This time the wizard is wiser. This time, finding the crystals is your only hope. In the Chronicles the legend of The Final Battle is yet to be told. This is your chance to write the history.

Genre - Retro Text and Picture based RPG Used to love this game on my Atari ST (with higher quality images) as a kid. It's nice to be able to play it again, for the nostalgia factor. I was never able to complete it without a full guide. Luckily I can't remember much about the puzzles though. The controls were confusing at first, but think I get them now (use single/double/right click and drag and drop). If you lose a party member you will need to reload or restart, and it is easy to lose them (including not saving them quick enough at the start). Shame it is bog standard Dos Box and not the revamped version I hoped for, but old beggars can't be choosers.6 found this helpful
