Alright. [i]The Lost Condor - Walking Simulator[/i] is done and dusted. Inasmuch as I walked around all the structures and took in the area. I also did what you should always do when playing a walking sim. I jumped off one of the cliffs, lol. There is no death mechanic. I've never been there, but I've watched and read a fair amount about it. Walking around the village in this game impressed upon me a few things that I'd wondered about IRL. You get a good sense for what types of buildings were used as homes, as granaries, places craftsman did their work, and so on. You can see how tiered gardens would be a useful system. And you can definitely see how it would find uses as both a defensive settlement as well as a religious one. You walk around the map and... that's it. There's no gameplay, no explanatory text, no cutscenes, no educational voiceover, nothing. There's not even a UI. They didn't even bother to add guard-rails around the area, allowing you to jump off the edge of the map. Changing the options doesn't work until you restart the game. The graphics look like they're from the 1990's. Like many bad Unreal Engine games, it opens up Steam VR when you launch it, even though it's not a VR game. Sorry, but I wouldn't recommend this even if it were free. It's kind of ridiculous that they're charging money for this.

The graphics are rather dated but do the job. The animation is smooth. The controls are good. The problem is that there just isn't enough here. You've seen everything it has within a few minutes and then that is it. There is nothing else. To be honest, I think this piece of abandonware should probably be free by now.

Just not a good game, if you can call it a game. The game states no interaction, faie enough. Educational game? how? no interaction no voiceover, just walk. The problem is you can walk around in 5-7 minutes, which is what I did. I had no where else to go as I been up and down. I accidentally got too close to the cliff and fell all the way to the ground with noi way to get back, so I just kept walking, eventually hitting an invisible wall.No way to get back except restart, A reset button would have been handy. Alhough the game looks great initially, not much walking space to be had and nothing to do and can't even finish the game, its just walk around. Not worth buying. Avoid and buy another walking sim you can finish.

It's alright, although, I wish there was more to this game, but I still liked it for what it was.

I mean it's neat and could be good on sale, I thought I was going to be a condor and fly around but that was not the case
