Decades after the happenings that created THE ORIGIN, a corrupt politician fled from justice, refuges himself in an inhospitable region full of terrible legends. His assistant runs away from him holding the key from the car that the politician needs to leave the place. During his search, he will fase space and time, being forced to come back to the past and fase The Origin of the Blind Maid while he tries to redeem himself.
• First Person ShooterUse your weapons only when it is absolutely necessary, ammunition is very scarce. Fight only when you have no choice and run away when possible, this is the only way you will be able to resist until the end.
• Improve your skillsThere are special potions that you can get from a millenarian ticket dispenser, which will give you access to different improvements, such as running longer without getting exhausted, shooting without aiming, running and shooting or carrying more objects.
• Crafting
Mix herbs and objects following the instructions of an old alchemist to create short-lived abilities and black magic to fight enemies.
• EnemiesThe Chaos produced by The Origin has created cursed creatures.Some with the appearance of a tree, others created accidentally by the Alchemist and others spawned by evil, called Chimeras in the ancient texts.
• Varied and distorted settingsSometimes you will have to deal with the abrupt changes of environment that The Origin is able to create to disturb your mind. Be careful when turning every corner.
• Several Endings and New Game +
You will have the opportunity to redeem or condemn your character to unlock the different endings. Continue playing in search of the different endings as you keep the acquired skills.
• Psychophonies
Use the protagonist's earphone (almost deaf in one ear) to hear voices and sounds from the afterlife and use them to your advantage.
• Puzzles
Solving puzzles will be an important part of the action, some will be truly complex but intuitive. A real challenge for the players.

Seemed like an interesting idea but man, the execution. The keys can't be rebound. The mouse sensitivity, even at minimum allows me to do three complete revolutions with a six or so inch movement. Get too close to walls and the camera completely loses focus. At one point, I was grabbed by the guy you can't shoot for some reason, even when he's trying to kill you. To break free, do you mash f (the default "use" button)? No, it's x for some reason, one restart at checkpoint later. I'm now stuck in the basement area where it suddenly floods and the guy you can't shoot ignores you in a scripted sequence where you duck under water to avoid him but you need a crowbar to go out the hatch you just left. Bad game, Bad controls, Too dark, Not even for free...
I'm going to do my third review here because this game certainly deserves it. Where to start? Exactly, where to start since the game refuses, no matter what I do, to start. It loads, well and dandy, but gets stuck in a girls face until forevermore. So, needlessly to say, I don't even know what the game looks like. Might be nice, or not, I can't tell and the devs mostly certainly can't either because, I'm going on a whim here, it doesn't start for them neither. So, do yourself a favour, skip this or give your money to charity, as I should have done, but no, I bought this instead.

It does get a little better as it goes along but the game is a prime example why usability testing is so important to make a decent game. There's so much in the game that needs work that most people will not find enjoyment in playing it. As of Jul 22, 2021 when it released, only 7.3% have completed the "game completed" achievement.
