Slip into the role of Hansel or Gretel who, after having been adopted by the gingerbread witch, are now running a successful confectionery business. So when they are called upon by their friend, the pepper prince, they decide to bake them a very special wedding cake! Unfortunately things don't work out as planned and soon there's a mysterious change in weather, a disappearance, and a broken heart to be mended.
Seasoning 1 is released in 5 short installments, each continuing the story from the last episode. Episodes 2-5 will be available as separate DLC or as part of the Seasoning Pass.

Surprising find, very well executed and puzzles were mostly easy, though some required a little thinking. Does require DLC formally achievements, and future chapters are coming. (3 should be soon, 2024 or so I gather) You play a character who is helping the prince. The first chapter has you baking his wedding cake. The second has you trying to mend his heartbreak. The cast of characters you meet are interesting enough and many have roles between chapters. Music is pleasant enough to listen to throughout your playthrough. Art, while minimalist of course, is actually quite effective. A few achievements to keep an eye out for include Speedruns for both chapters (use arrow keys versus clicking for easier and fast navigation) and getting 1000 peppers and coins, just keep requesting from the NPCs who provide them. Had a few small bugs, nothing game breaking. Dev is aware and plans to fix these in a future patch. Overall, I recommend this. Can't wait for chapter 3 and beyond.4 found this helpful

Reviewing this during 2026 is wild. I really liked this game, I've only played episode 1 but I might buy the rest of the DLCs to finish the series. I enjoy the writing and style of the game, it's just a bunch of lines, letters, and symbols. It's a really simple puzzle-story game that I enjoyed :)

Я был приятно удивлён забавным сюжетом, где принц должен сразиться за свою любовь, доказывая свою храбрость и стойкость перед лицом экстравагантных испытаний, связанных, конечно, с перцем чили. Графика выполнена в мультяшном, приятном для глаз стиле, а персонажи просто очаровательны. Музыкальное сопровождение тоже на высоте, добавляет атмосферности и юмора происходящему. Геймплей достаточно простой, но увлекательный. Необходимо решать головоломки, участвовать в мини-играх и, конечно, поедать острый перец, чтобы продвигаться по сюжету. Юмор - главная сила игры, и он пронизывает каждый аспект, от диалогов до ситуаций, в которых оказывается принц. Единственный недостаток - это небольшая продолжительность, но это и понятно, учитывая, что это первый эпизод. С нетерпением жду продолжения и новых приключений принца перца! Рекомендую всем, кто ищет лёгкую, забавную и необычную игру, способную поднять настроение.
