RPG Maker strikes again! The Sun Will Rise is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. As with all RPG Maker games, the poor quality engine displays badly in fullscreen and doesn't have full HD support or any graphics tweaking options, making this unacceptable for any dedicated modern PC gamer. The point can be made that the intention of RPG Maker is to make demos and small games to pass around friends, and shouldn't be used for "professional" game development. Like most RPG Maker shovelware and asset flips, the game features extremely low quality copy + pasted 2D retro pixel art, looks awful, and has even worse gameplay. RPG Maker is an absolutely terrible construction kit, and never results in games of any reasonable quality or value to gamers. But this RPG Maker asset flip is even worse than the others, because, haha…

Игра «The Sun Will Rise» — это атмосферный квест с глубоким повествованием. Мир, построенный на мистике и эмоциях, захватывает с первых минут. Управление простое, но требует внимания к деталям. Графика минималистична, но создает нужную атмосферу. Звуковое сопровождение усиливает напряжение. Несмотря на короткий геймплей, каждый момент ощущается значимым. Рекомендую тем, кто ценит истории с нестандартной структурой и эмоциональной глубиной.

Short rpg in classical form. It's a little disturbing and I was a bit offended when I was basically called a loser for playing video games, but other than that, I found the game suited my needs as an rpg gamer.

This is a very boring game, VERY Boring! The story is very drab, the graphics are OK, the game play lacks fun, the interaction between the player and game is nonexistent and it is very hard to get into the game at all. Not to sound harsh but it is ....... A tranquilizer for the soul!! It will put you to sleep with the lack of ...... well ANYTHING stimulating! Say something positive about the game......The battle graphics are OK.
