It's a bit janky, it's quirky, sometimes you're character flies off their bicycle and ragdolls at awkward moments, but dammit, I f*ing love this game. The farming experience it fun and realistic, the difficulties the MC goes through are motivating, the atmosphere of the town and natural area is hypnotizing, the money making system is super fun, and the festivals are amazing. I cannot get enough of that claw machine game. I love love love the vendor menu system, and the crafting. Sure there are a LOT of mechanics that need to be totally revamped, but I am super stoked about the re-boot. It's gonna be amazing.

Although I am still heartbroken about the trees growing back and moving buildings situation which hardlocked me for quite some time, this is such a cozy go to game for me. Sure it's a little janky but that's part of what I LOVE about this game. It doesn't have to be perfect. It just made me happy to play it, oh and it's BEAUTIFUL.

Lovely game and my favorite farming sim game so far! Theres a ton of heart put into this and a lot of unique aspects with the art style and gameplay that caught me. Its been through a lonng rough patch due to issues with publishing and what not but the devs are seriously talented and very communicative of their plans going forward. They have the game back in their hands and have been working on it and honestly thats all I've ever wanted, they can seriously make something super special. It was sad when it was out of their hands and felt hopeless for anyone wanting the game to improve or change but its FINALLY HAPPENING!!! Please support these guys, I really think they've got something great here, much love!

I'm SO excited that this game is back!! It is very immersive and fun! I love my farm, and the wide variety of crops and animals. I haven't experienced any bugs in my 80+ hours of playing. If you like farming games and try this you won't be sorry

I like the game so far after 6 hours of gameplay. It's got many layers to it so I don't think I'm going to run out of things to do. It takes a bit of guessing to find out how to use all the tools and game controls, as the tutorials don't quite cover it enough. The game landscapes are lovely as well. I'm curious to see where the game goes. I recommend it.

This game is far from being perfect, but honestly? I love it. Pros -This game is genuinely fun. While most of the activities you can do in SunnySide will be familiar to people who like to play farming games--certainly farming, ranching (caring for livestock), fishing, cooking, and mining/combat are nothing new--some of the systems used in these activities are done differently. No longer are you using a watering can--now you have a hose (thank god), and once you unlock further skills, you can set up an automatic irrigation system to water your crops. Cooking is more complex than just having the items in your inventory, as you need to consult the cookbook app on your phone to figure out what tools and appliances you need to cook the recipe, and as you unlock more complex recipes, there are multiple different components to the recipe you need to cook before you can put everything together. The food crafting system allows you to make various tea leaves and seeds, fermented products (wine, etc.), cheeses, roasted nuts, oils, and can and package foods. For combat, you buy different ofuda at the shrine, which are consumable "cards" that will have some sort of attack or effect on the enem…
