An absolutely stellar performance all around. I remember how excited I was for this game to come out after finishing the demo, and the full thing didn't disappoint. There's a good few endings and enough things you can miss on your first playthrough to make the subsequent ones just as fun as the first. Amazingly atmospheric, with an awesome style that really does the aesthetic justice, and an awesome soundtrack with a few songs that I could listen to on repeat, and that as a whole just cements the atmosphere the game goes for. It doesn't do anything in any mediocre fashion. Everything it does, it does proudly. It's not a long game, but it is a great game. Go try it out.2 found this helpful

I wish I could give a middle ground review. All the parts of a great game are here. The atmosphere, the story, the scares, the game has those. It also lacks any kind of map that i can tell, and also has fixed save spots. Now I liked crow country alot and it ALSO has fixed save spots. I didn't like that about that game either. Can we please stop making games that look like old games but also have their lack of QoL? Like part of what stops me from replaying old classics is crap QoL. If they just changed this i would 100 percent change my review as the game content itself is good. If you don't mind the old, should have been fixed, QoL issues, this game is for you. It just bugs me they had 8 plus years to work on this and the decided not to change that. Tried AGAIN today to play and found a map. The map is basically useless. I won't be finishing this unfortunately.1 found this helpful
This game is great! Terrific art, sound design, and really original story. I am a casual gamer and it kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time.
