I like this, have to revisit continuously to explore and expand the story. Sadly it seems there is and will not be a chapter 2 to continue and end the story.

The story is very interesting! The 2D characters with the 3D environment is clearly inspired by Hotel Dusk, a game I played multiple times and which holds a special place in my heart. Very well done!! Maybe, just like in Hotel Dusk, there could be subtle animations from time to time (like when someone gets angry so they lean in, or surprised so their eyes widen and they lean back a bit! It gives the characters a little more personality and pizzazz) The controls were weird at first, but I could adjust to them very quickly so that wasn't an issue! The voice acting is cool, I enjoyed it a lot. Especially the voice of the narrator/detective! However, with the positives, there are also some points that I think need adjustment. I'll try to give my best feedback from completing the chapter. The first thing I noticed was the difficulty of trying to avoid the red dots and touch the blue dots when Veronique gets a panic attack. At first I just kept moving my mouse, but that made me touch more of the red dots. I quickly learned that it was easier to just keep still, but sometimes a red dot spawned right on my cursor.
