The whole game is disordered, I meaning the menu UI and the character or the rest of the things, developer can't even tell you was control the tiny dot of the main character, blind death for many times finally understand what am I control.

The Vaults of Minos is a game that immediately feels like it was made for people who enjoy old school arcade platformers. I am entering a dangerous underground vault where my former teacher, Professor Nimroder, is trying to awaken the cursed King Minos. The story gives me a reason to keep moving, but the real focus is on running, jumping, fighting enemies and surviving whatever the next section throws at me. I like the way it keeps things simple because I can get into the action without having to deal with loads of unnecessary systems. The movement is probably my favourite part. The game is built around quick platforming and I have to react to traps, enemies and changes in the level while keeping myself moving forward. The levels are procedurally generated, so each attempt can give me different traps, challenges and encounters. I think that works especially well here because the game is clearly designed around replaying runs and trying to improve rather than simply completing a fixed set of stages once. The traps are where I found myself paying the most attention. There are plenty of things that can catch me out, and I have to learn how to react to them instead of blindly rushing…

Searching for the term "platformer" on Steam gives you over 17,000 results... there's thousands and thousands of garbage tier platformers infesting Steam. "The Vaults of Minos" fits right into that category of retro 2D shovelware glutting the Steam store. Only a tiny number of those are any good, and this isn't one of them. This certainly has some of the worst graphics out of any platformer... it's a very basic 8 bit style platformer with pixelcrap and no content. I think more effort went into the backstory about some dude called Nimroder trying to wake the king up because apparently the king isn't a nice man, so we have to stop him. This means lots of badly done pixelcrap precision platforming, a couple of fights, but no real interest from gamers, this was a huge failure on Steam Direct. This is a tired, outdated experience from a tired, outdated and obsolete game genre. Just a couple of platformers out of literally thousands have any appeal for gamers lately (Super Meat Boy, Hollow Knight etc). This "me too" Steam Direct platformer in a crowded genre offers nothing new. It's "free", but [i]free[/i] doesn't mean [i]good.[/i] This is another case of Itch failing the one sin…
