Run From Mummies

This was really fun. It reminded me of an old Saturday morning cartoon in good ways. An irreverent group of tourists bumbles into an ancient story that was surprisingly good. The gameplay is all arcade style running around, snapping photos, luring enemies into traps, solving some basic puzzles. The game is decently long too, in fact it goes from being almost intimidatingly long at first to seeming like it's almost over really fast because of how fun and fast-paced the action is. Mopping up the final achievements afterwards was fun. The game tells you which levels have something hidden in them, which is a huge relief as going through 100+ levels trying to see where you missed something would be awful otherwise. The game presentation makes a big deal about co op but it's entirely solo-friendly. I think my main criticism is that you unlock additional tourists to play as, but many of them seem like downgrades over the basic tourist as their special abilities don't do much and they start with less health or bandages, and then there's one who is just straight up by far the strongest character in the game imo. Really fun and unique game!

What a genuine good game, breaks my heart to see this never popped off. I still have hope that a streamer or anybody finds this randomly and gives it some well deserved spotlight. Potentially a rly rly good party game Aside from any of that: I rly enjoyed the story here. A very fun mix of humor, historicially accurate themes and topics, good gameplay and artstyle and a cool soundtrack. Huge shoutout to almost all voiceactors in this. For such a small team they did an phenomenal job As critic points, I could see alot of people not even give this a chance cause its named "Run from Mummies". Just not the most engaging title I fear. Also the very first few levels are not great. I could see alot of players jump off early cause its not too interesting. Please give this a chance, theres so many fun ideas here Big fan and thank you for this fun game
