Slay the Minotaur

Originally I kinda hated it despite it having some good ideas I liked. Even thought of refunding it cos I was already 20 mins in and already had thought "this isn't for me." But I didn't since it didn't cost much anyway and kept going. The more I played it, despite how rage inducing it was, it did start to grow on me. And it's a lot more fun when you're actually powerful. I also appreciated that the dev added extra modes. The one where you play the sexy shopkeeper was pretty fun since she's so OP. A nice way to release the stress you accumalated from the main game. I'll def check out this dev's other games cos they've got my attention now.

Making a Roguelite with set in ancient Greece is a great idea. Would love to see it expand with others myths, for example making Medusa a boss or fighting Zeus himself. Old PS graphics fit great here, open area is a vibe for sure. It has plenty of gear but lacks a bit in enemy variety imo. Also I think the Minotaur could be made harder, on 2-3 try his fast paced swings and jumps feel like regular enemy attacks but slightly more difficult to dodge/parry.

This game is a lot of fun. I will keep an eye on this dev's creations. Took me about 7 hours to slay the Minotaur. Most of my deaths are from getting spotted before I can rack up enough points for level 3/4 health, strength, and speed. Sometimes I get cornered or fall off the map into the abyss. Other times, the RNG won't give me a decent weapon. It's all part of the fun, I guess! I hope someday dev will drop another maze for us to memorize.

Such a simple game concept but so addictive to just finally find a way to slay the minotaur. Loved it!

I hate this game with a passion yet I can't stop playing it. I am terrible at it but I deserve the torment it puts me through.
