Find powerful weapons and helmets, each with a unique attribute and special move! Be it a devastating strike or casting powerful lightning bolts like Zeus! Although burned by the repeated failures of previous heroes, Aphrodite will help you slay the Minotaur by upgrading your agility and strength, or even granting you new abilities! With her help you can become an unstoppable Minotaur slayer!
The Minotaur’s domain isn't home to just the Minotaur. Failed heroes of the past still walk the labyrinth’s halls as zombies. Giant cyclopes and other foul beings call the labyrinth their home. Defeat these mythical creatures to earn pearls that can be traded with Aphrodite to become stronger and to open chests containing powerful weaponry. If you want a chance at slaying the Minotaur, you must fight your way through the labyrinth!

A game I absolutely suck at, but enjoy none the less. It's got a fun and engaging premise, a nice graphical style, and good gameplay. Something I really like mucking around in, and can see others having a good time with as well.1 found this helpful

Generally a really fun game! I only had time to play for 30 minutes in my lunch break but my time will be added up soon. Fun little game! Hooked me, cant wait to continue playing
I've had a lot of fun with the game but there are some nitpicks that are incredibly grating. Foremost is that the enemy tracking is Dark Souls 2 level broken. Every enemy will pull complete 180 turns during a windup to land a hit on you after a dodge roll, it's ridiculous. The Cyclops' kick & the Minotaur's headbutt moves have no tell or windup at all. The Gorgon enemies are so tedious & have such tiny parry windows that the achievement for killing one is relatively low compared to everything else. It's glaring that bumping into the Minotaur without any upgrades means you'll be resetting the run. I've ran into the guy on the first turn before & the run didn't even last 15 seconds. This would be easily remedied by spawning him a certain distance away from the player, giving a small grace period. Not everyone is going to do a hardcore speedrun of the game & it's obnoxious to assume that. I really like how Aphrodite warms up to the player as she grows more confident in their skill, it's a small detail that goes a long way.
I can see how some would like it. but for me, the combat is too janky, and the progression is flawed. it would be much better if there was some sort of permanent upgrade system or skill tree but from what i can tell there isn't. There are super hard enemies way too early on. and once one of these enemies is aggroed on you, you cant outrun them. its also hopeless to outrun the minotaur once he spots you, which can quickly kill any progression if you are not ready for it. I wont ask for a refund because i like to support indi devs. But this game is way, way more frustrating then it is fun.
i am playing this game, i had it on my library for a while. im not into rougue likes too much, but ive played a few. this is not bad, i like how it feels, its hard like all the others of the same genre. i would try it, its 5 bucks, not losing much if you play it some and quit and never pick it up again. but, its worth a play.
