I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I love this game! This reboot is harder, but it's still a joy to play. The opening sequence is what gets me the most. I didn't think anyone could be more nonobservant than me, but these guys are so cutely clueless when it comes to watching where they're going.

This game is so bad, it makes ET for Atari 2600 seem brilliant. It will drain intelligence from your brain if you even look at it.

Wizards Who Fell In A Hole is a Mario Bros (not SMB, just Mario Bros) style single screen action platformer where you shoot a variety of monsters and collect fruits and things to improve your score. The developers use a claymation art style which is a little comical and amusing. First up with the positives, the developers have done a lot of things right here. 4K support, nice art style (not low poly, or minimalist, or retro pixel), customisable controls. Decent keyboard gameplay. The downside is, well, Mario Bros was big in the 1980s in the arcades, but this isn't the 1980's. If Cuphead was a single screen 2D platformer/arcade shooter, it would have flopped. I'd like to give this a maybe or something, because big props to developers who understand the requirements that PC gamers have for a game, but there's no meaningful content here. Maybe if they made a story driven side scrolling platformer or something? But it's 2019. 3D graphics own the landscape.
