Beyond the Wizard is a platform action game about the adventures of the hero who wants to be a wizard.
The main character trained his body to survive in a world full of wizards!
And the opportunity comes to those who try. He had his first and last chance to become a wizard.
Instead of having no magic or skill, he has strong power and spirit and has to leap over competing wizards with it!
The main character will never give up! At least not unless you give up!

"Beyond the Wizard" is yet another of literally thousands of 2D retro platformers infesting Steam and lowering the average quality of all games everywhere. What do you do in the game? This Korean platformer has you doing some really lame and simple precision platforming for no discernable purpose or reason... it plays even worse than it looks. This features really godawful pixel-esque "art" instead of real graphics... I say pixel-esque becuase the graphics are so bad it's difficult to determine if it's deliberate or accidental. It's hard to say if this was because the developer didn't have the skill to do the job of creating 3D visuals, or couldn't afford to hire someone who does, but it also doesn't matter. What matters is that this looks much worse than most other games because of that decision, and that's a major deterrent to gamers. Games like Terraria and Stardew Valley succeeded [i]despite[/i] the bad graphics, not because of them. It's free... now, but it wasn't before. The developer was charging $4 USD for this. Price barriers, especially on low quality products, can be a direct cause of failure. It's a nice gesture for the game to be given away for free, but it a…4 found this helpful
