About Three Fairies' Hoppin' Flappin' Great Journey!
The feeblest bunch in all of Gensokyo are now our heroes?!
Hoppin' & flappin' Touhou spin-off RPG stretched out by the trio of Sunny Milk, Luna Child, and Star Sapphire!

In the fantastical land of Gensokyo there is a school for the fairies.
One year ago, Cirno, hoping to avoid being held back for the 9th year in a row, launched an all-out attack on the fairies as they tried to enjoy a relaxing spring break…
Now Star Sapphire, the only one who ended up bearing the brunt of the attack, is devising a plan to get back at her!
...
But unfortunately, these fairies aren't exactly masters of fixing up plans...
This story follows the fairy trio on their haphazard, slapstick quest for revenge!

The characters hop their way through isometric fields and flap their way through battle.
But this isn't the cozy little RPG you think it is!

The fairies are dumb in-battle, leaving you in charge of the carefully crafted "Tactics System" to plan their way to victory!
Features over 35 characters!
Over 50 hours of expected play time!
Over 500 achievements to unlock! This is no teeny little game, it's jam-packed with content! It's an RPG that will keep you hooked and looking for more!
The tactics system puts you in control,
taking charge of the doltish fairies and whipping up intricate tactics to see them swiftly and joyfully through battle!

If (in which circumstances) → to WHO → do WHAT
Build your tactics with these components ahead of time and the characters will automatically follow your plan.
(Ex. If HP<50% → target ally with lowest HP → heal)

Your foes also act according to their own tactics.
Use Star Sapphire's ability to sneak a peek at these tactics and work out counter-tactics to hit them where it hurts!
(This is a bit too complicated for the little fairies, so all the tactics planning is in your hands!)

For those who have played the game: Future City, Sagittarius broke me. For everyone else: Wow this game is really mean to the player? It is an isometric old-school party RPG with a party automation system, but it secretly wants to be a precision platformer. Yes, in a forced isometric game with tile-based movement. Pretty much every dungeon past the third or so has been about navigating its particular gimmick. At first, things were pretty simple. OK, these squares are traps that do some damage. Got it. Poison swamp? Sure, typical. Sliding ice puzzles? Kind of a pain but not unexpected. It was only when I got to Factory that I started realising there was a problem. Conveyer puzzles, switch puzzles, block pushing puzzles, sure, fairly normal. Then it throws the timed combination conveyer/block pushing puzzles at you. Sure, these are off the beaten path, but given how important equipment is for increasing your survivability, it's almost always worth exploring in this game. It only gets worse past that point. It's always worth doing those puzzles, but it's so mean. And you get forced to start doing them after the Factory, too. Hope you like precision AI manipulation stealt…6 found this helpful
I've never played a game so specific on the mechanics like this one. It's a really special game. From the outside, you see that this is a RPG, but you couldn't be more wrong about the genre. The first half to and hour, yeah, this could seem a typical turn-based (timed) RPG, with exploration, new moves, consumibles, etc. But once you advance up to the first boss and, somehow, defeat them, you start to realise this is no ordinary RPG. The tactics system is the cornerstone of the game, and it is heavily needed through the whole game, up to the breaking point on the post-game. You are required to comprehend your moveset, be able to modify and transform it tailoring the enemies you are going to oppose before the fight. The rock, paper, scissors is something you must think and prepare before fighting, specially against bosses, with equipment and buffs, debuffs, clears, objects use... everything planned out beforehand or you will not survive this game. It's a challenge that asks you to think and study all your available options prior to the fight, because sending all individual commands during the battle is impossible, thus, you make plans that organize the behavior of your units. Translation could be ALOT better. A few things do not make sense. Still a fun/silly game.
