A good game. It starts with a medium difficulty, but the game gets more complex and difficult. The art is cute and with shadows well done, the rogue like style is the differential of the game, being something new for the genre .... The gameplay leaves something to be desired, and the soundtrack is very good.3 found this helpful
Tiamat's Drink is a superbly well constructed top-down 2D vertically scrolling shooter with a cute premise, winged female devils that go out on missions and then come back to a tavern-like setting to get their upgrades. The only regret is that, having created a fully functional version 1.0 of the game, the developer(s) up and disappeared and we hope that they did not literally get hit by a truck or something. Maybe there's been no activity precisely because nobody wrote a review! Well, it's getting one now.
The local co-op alternative is the cherry on top of this game! Really - the whole experience felt different while sharing the keyboard with someone else, and, for me, it's probably my favourite part about Tiamat's Drink! The game, in an overall, is really smooth and the learning curve is just balanced enough to keep you interested in the game's increasingly challenges. I should not forget to mention that the soundtrack is simply amazing! It really adds to the nostalgic feling it goes for.
