Tri-Star

A solid shmup with good action, plenty of unlockables and a consistent challenge. The dev has been releasing regular updates with more content and features, and each one has made the game better and better.

Addicting and fun as hell. This isn't a walk in the park point farm for you to play and feel good about yourself, you will WORK for everything you get in this game. There's unlockable content and achievements to strive for all the while making it your top priority to get to the furthest wave possible. Whether you're gaming casually or plan on putting in real hours to this game, I feel it's a great edition to anyone's library.

Fun and cute game to hyper fixate on. If you enjoy(ed) space invaders, galaga and the likes you'd probably like this one as well. Also, my ADHD is vibing with the music a bit too hard *chefs kiss*.

Fun game, lots of replay-ability

If you are up for a challenge than this game is for you Tri-Star was my introduction to the "bullet hell" genre and it is unforgiving to newcomers. What makes it difficult is the fact that after you die, your ship changes and so does its play-style/strategy. It makes it to where you aren't allowed to navigate your ship through a level based off memory since depending where you die, the next ship will make you approach waves of enemies differently. Depending how much of a challenge you want will very how much you will enjoy this game. If you are looking for something more casual like space invaders or galaga then I would stay away from this game. Like I said this game is for those who want a challenge.

This is a side-scrolling rouge-lite arcade shooter game. It can be difficult if you aren't experienced with these types of games but I feel like its pretty well balanced with little hand-holding or tutorials but still somehow easy to pick up with some practice. This game encourages repeated playthroughs and experimentation as you can pick between about five ships with different but fun shooting styles. This game felt like a mix of Star Fox 64 and Enter the Gungeon so if that sounds like your type of game than this is a perfect fit for you!
