This game was not fun. The movement and powers you can use are random due to the tile grid. The combat is unbalanced and the characters have a tiny amount of actions that makes the game more an exercise in frustration than anything else. The story is okay, but miserable. (EVERYBODY'S DEAD... except your characters... in a town of hundreds.) I didn't have fun with this game and I regret buying it.1 found this helpful
I loved how puzzle mechanics, combat and RPG elements work together in meaningful ways. Though the presentation is rather simple, I also liked how the story and characters kept me motivated.
A fun strategy/puzzle game that has a decent amount of depth. Story is cool, nothing groundbreaking, the gameplay is what shines through. Cool soundtrack, though limited in number of tracks. Recommended from a Brandon Sanderson video!
Enjoyed the moving over the grid to power up mechanic. Set myself the goal of obtaining every talent token from all four episodes which made the game more challenging (and longer as some are mutually exclusive necessitating multiple runs). Has character colour text and a story to tie it all together but the story is very predictable.
Such a fun game. Made me feel stupid sometimes when I messed up, but tbh that is a good thing for a game like this.
