About Earth vs Mars
Martians have been visiting Earth for decades, abducting animals and humans and harvesting their atomic essence to create bizarre Martian-creature hybrids. This time they’re here to claim our planet.
In this turn-based strategy game, an unlikely group of commanders will lead Earth’s military as they face an overwhelming Martian invasion. Fight high-tech saucers, grav-tanks and elite alien warriors in a battle for the planet’s survival.
Your secret weapon is the “Splice-O-Tron". With it, you can combine human "volunteers" with Earth creatures to create powerful hybrid supersoldiers to fight alongside Earth’s regular military. Rain acid from the skies with the fast-moving cheetah-fly. Charge through enemy lines with devastating human-rhino hybrids. Or strike from the forests with your deadly squirrel-cow infantry.
As the campaign progresses, you’ll unlock new types of creature, powerful unit upgrades and game-changing commander abilities. But as your army evolves, so will your enemy’s, and you’ll face everything from the sentient organic weapon known only as “The Creep” to the Martian’s own mutant creations.

Like the switch's Wargroove, this is mostly a copy paste of Advance Wars, which is old enough now a lot of younger gamer won't know it. the only part original to it is splicing beast-people. It's a change, not great, not bad, just makes it a little different. If you like AW and Wargroove mechanically, then you'll probably like this one mechanically. The maps aren't as refined though. as for story, it's low quality writing but i don't think many people buy this type of game for the story anyway. Bigger problem is the blatant anti-male bent to it. 100% of good ideas come from the obviously superior in every conceivable way female characters, who are actively derisive toward the male ones.13 found this helpful

Finally fixed the fog of war memory leak, but then there was an error where healed units weren't healed correctly, causing their reported health to be incorrect so you go into fights with damage you can't see. Game breaking for this genre. They fixed that the day after I reported (dev responded), but the very next map had another issue: I couldn't see how much damage my attacks would do or how much I would take. Again, key stuff. It worked on the next map after I closed out the game, but game is obviously not getting much QA love.3 found this helpful
Very entertaining spiritual successor to Advance Wars. This is NOT xcom but that's okay! It's a fun casual game and I'm having a blast with it
Not perfect., but a really fun game.
If you like Advance Wars you will probably like this.
