✦ AI summary

Players overwhelmingly criticize Time Over as a bare-bones, poorly executed game with severe issues: unintuitive controls tied to disorienting camera angles, unbearable mandatory audio with no volume options, stolen Minecraft assets, and repetitive gameplay limited to collecting ten blocks on a single map with dysfunctional AI teammates. The $40 price point is widely considered exploitative for what amounts to an incomplete, one-level experience with clunky mechanics and nearly impossible objectives, leading many to call it a scam.

I don't usually call a game a scam outright in my reviews. However, Time Over is one of the few exceptions. You collect ten blocks, you win. That's it. The 'game' is just one level with AI characters blasting your eardrums with irritating sounds. No, you can not change the volume. You can't turn the volume off as there isn't even a settings menu. Minecraft fans will notice a lot of familiar assets that have been ripped off and shoved in to Time Over, including Enderman.... I mean "Blue" as is described in the game description. Somehow the controls have also been made to be as wonky as possible. How can you screw up W, A, S, D? By having them tied to weird camera angles as you go through the different rooms. What I would advise instead of playing this game is to read all the conflicting 'positive' reviews and to laugh at whoever created the thumbnail for this game as they must of made it using AI and somehow left the word 'upgraded' in there. What an absolute train wreck.

This is the biggest piece of ♥♥♥♥ I have ever played. The controls are "WASD" that's it, you can't even control the camera yourself, it always points the wrong way and makes you dizzy as it constantly spins. 90% of the games "assets" are stolen from Minecraft. The game play is clunky and the objective is nearly impossible. You get less than a minute to collect 10 boxes and you can realistically only collect 2 max yourself. Meanwhile your AI team mates are off in the opposite corner of the map from where the boxes are sacrificing themselves to the "Blue" guy. Only way to win is to collect a box, distract Blue and cross your fingers that the AI team mates don't ignore the boxes right in front of them. And that's the entire game. yup one small map and the boxes are always in the same place. I have no idea what "story" these other reviews are referencing. There is no tutorial, no controls menu, the game doesn't even have a start menu, you load up and press start, you lose and press restart. No pause, no options setting to turn off the unbearable audio from your team mates yelling "help me" in the most obnoxious way possible. Just an endless cycle of restarting the worst game in ex…
