A good point&click game, albeit short, featuring probably the strangest story I’ve ever seen in the genre. It piqued my curiosity about the source material, since the game is an adaptation of the eponymous novel by Boris Vian. I only knew the author by name and I didn't expect this kind of narrative at all. The story is original yet so unconventional that I’m sure it won’t be to everyone’s taste. Personally, I enjoyed it, it offered something very different. It all begins with a rather baffling protagonist. He is completely narcissistic, naive, and somewhat simple-minded. And in his view, defending his virginity is his biggest problem because his good looks attract every girl he crosses paths with... One would tend to think that reality would put him in his place, but no, quite the contrary. The adventure unfolds in an atmosphere that is at once comical, retro-noir, and slightly surreal, with our narcissistic hero trying to solve a murder and uncover the reasons behind his own kidnapping, events that occur at the beginning of the game. The gameplay is a mix of point&click exploration, puzzles to organize clues, QTEs, stealth and turn-based combat. While the mechanics are quite …4 found this helpful
Interesting story, albeit an unusual ending. Great artwork and music
outstanding art-style and music art deco comic book (?) ARTE France my beloved ending was odd lmao but nevertheless it is an interesting story
Nurse 2 is SUS with that mouth's Stain considering, what they did to the Main character "Rock the Virgin". Interesting "game" if it can be called that. Some puzzles, Hidden objects, Turn base, QTE gameplay and mostly a Visual novel. I would like them to focus on the gameplay next time since the Art Style is great.
Fun, adjustable pace and pretty art :D
DISAPPOINTING. I hate to give this one a negative review. A premise of detective story set in 50's California, with turn based combat, unique artstyle and nice music, so what went wrong ? Gameplay is childish and mindless, despite the very mature themes. Plot is mostly just press `F` to read on. Puzzles ? Not really and nothing quest like. What about the turn based combat ? it's about hitting a button ( `F` again ) at the right time. Seems the French devs decided to drop all genres without committing to any, not even full mouse support. Sometimes you have to press `F`, Sometimes keyboard only, other you must use mouse. Right click ? Ve nefer heard of it <smoke puff>, now go play our silly game, `F` you ... Ha Ha.
