Tollway Tycoon

This game is hilarious. It's a tycoon game, so if you ever grew up playing those games, you know what type of gameplay to expect. And just like the Tycoon games, the amount of unpredictable and sometimes unexplainable things that happen is just out of this world in the best way. It's a chill cozy game that you can easily play for a long time and not realize it.

I had a ton of fun playing this game. It sucked me in for over 3 hours as I upgraded my toll booths, fought the deluge of potatoes, and ghosts. Unfortunately it crashed around the 3 1/2 hour mark, and I hadn't saved yet, however, I am definitely going to be picking this up again. It's way too addictive to not forgive the occasional crash.

Fun and Hilarious. The little events that occur throughout got a good chuckle out of me as I scrambled to figure what most of them are references to. It's genuenly challenging. I failed my first run but have managed to get quite far in my 2nd run. Would recommend, I had a great time with it!

goated game must buy, I had a lot of fun operating the finest toll booth in this county hands down. The Aliens wont stop me, it might stop my cars but I get people places and charge them absurd amounts of toll fees because I can. Also can't remmeber what color bigfoot was because I was so distracted by bigs foots shirt lmao

I wish I could leave a neutral review. The game is fine, but feels rather rough. It's chaotic, but to a point where it becomes almost barely manageable for me (could be due to my ADHD though). Maybe I shouldn't mention this next part, in case the devs see this and patch it out, but there's ways to kind of cheat the game by save-scumming the autosave after losing and praying for better RNG. I got to about Day 10 on my third attempt. HOWEVER, a big thing that I just remembered that should be fixed is making it so workers like technicians don't have to walk all the way back to be sent out again. if there's consecutive problems no one with common sense is gonna walk all the way back to their house just to immediately walk back out again for the next issue that needs fixing. So.... I was expecting a chill small indie game and well I was surprised on some aspects. It is a small indie game, yes. You have around 6-8h of game to fully complete the story. Did I die once ? Of course. Early run is challenging, end game is very easy. I would say end game was mostly waiting for Day 20 and money to max out everything, which could my downside comment on this game. It is early access, so some content is still absent which is okay. Chaotic physics on some stuff, which is clearly on purpose, is absolutely hilarious. Where I got surprised ? THE AMOUNT OF RANDOM EVENTS. Environmental events are various and funny/challenging and there are quite enough to never have the same day twice. Drivers events... I don't even know if I met them all. Well done, we are never bored and I laugh at some events so hard. You want to play a tycoon game and have a good laugh ? This is the game. You expect some roller coaster tycoon or zoo tycoon look alike ? You are not in the right place. Finally, good luck with ghosts...
