About Roadworks Simulator
You are responsible for the streets and roads in your city. With so many people in a city, there is always the need for new living space, which has to be opened up with roads. In addition, the residents ask here and there for wider and faster roads. Under certain circumstances you get contracts for plaster work, the creation of pedestrian and bike paths, or the replacement of gas, water and power lines in existing roads.
For a realistic representation, a 3D graphics engine is used, which represents the events at any time clearly and realistically. Step by step the player gains experience and thus more extensive special orders. A level is considered to be solved, if within the specified time, the given tasks have been fulfilled. But be careful, unpredictable events always affect the current happenings, such as:

✦ AI summary
Players universally report that Roadworks Simulator is plagued by severe technical problems including crashes, rendering failures, and unreadable text that make it largely unplayable, with most users unable to complete missions before the game becomes unstable. While the simulation concept itself appeals to fans of job simulators, the broken implementation, lazy graphics, and lack of polish make this a non-functional product that players strongly advise against purchasing.
Warning: Broken Game! This game has design/implementation defects that will render this unplayable for many gamers. The game assets do not render properly, the game environment simply doesn't display and thus cannot be played.
Roadworks Simulator was a 2016 job simulator (like Euro Truck Sim, Farm Sim, Warehouse Logistics Sim etc) but with roadworks and pothole fixing as the theme. Whatever, some people like job simulators (look how well Car Mechanic Sim games are going), but this is just garbage, because it's fundamentally broken as stated in the warning above. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. The game features lazy low-polygon "retro" assets, making this look like a barely functional 3D game from the mid 2000s. It's unclear why the developers weren't able to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets for the game, and also irrelevant... what matters is that this looks bad as a result of their decisions, a compromise PC gamers shouldn't have to put up with. The controls can't be customised, which will be an annoyance for many, but it can also render…3 found this helpful
3/10
No wonder the roads are in such a bad state if this is what it's like to fix them1 found this helpful
The store page mentions "Unpredictable obstacles & Technical defects". After a pinch under two hours, I think they meant bugs. They sure did well putting those in Roadworks Sim. RS crashes during jobs, between jobs, and even in the controls menu. Attempting to play it at any setting above Simple sees text become unreadable gibberish and no jobs loading. Out of 16 total missions, I managed to complete 4 and get roughly halfway through 5 before it died for good. I know a few people that own this, apparently. Haven't played it yet? Don't bother.1 found this helpful
