Grab blocks and stack them on top of each other to gather points over time but beware as other players can out-stack your totem by building on top so make sure to stun enemies with dash and destroy totems as well. "Totemori" is an experimental/demo game, a simple playerless "party brawler" where up to four players battle it out in small, low poly arenas to build towers (or knock down towers)... there's not a lot of depth or interest here, but I've seen far worse on Steam. I've also seen far, far better. The developers couldn't work out how to do lobbies, apparently, making this a rather dead concept, you would need to get people to go to your PC to play split screen. How about no, developers should understand that the internet exists and therefore online multiplayer is the only way to do it properly. If you must do PvP instead of content. The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. This game is fairly dated at 8 years old... and even back then it looked old and busted compared to contemporary, professionally made 3D games of the same period. I don't know what happened in 2017 to cause FTP Indie games to be higher quality than some of my paid ones, but this one is fantastic. Perfect addition to the Steam Deck party library. Either way, everything about this game is perfect... I only wish I could have more than 4 players!
