Summary: This game is probably the best "Backpack battle" like game. The object of the game is to use your limited bag space to build an army, use weapons and/or magic to defeat your enemies. You can expand this space by buying additional blocks from the shops and placing them into your bag. There are a mix of AI enemies and real players builds that you go up against (The AI is way easier then the PVP builds) and these are all selected at random. You can pick one of four classes that each have two sub-classes. Each class has unique Weapons, Summon, and Magic. This gives you a bunch of variety when it comes to builds and I feel keeps it fresh even after playing multiple matches. If you like achievements, they incentivize you to build outside of the clear meta builds and let you explore a bunch of different options and builds as well. Key Takeaways: The art is fantastic in my opinion. Very cute and charming. Gives mild cupheads vibe. My biggest complaint is the RNG. There have been runs completely ruined because they just don't give you pieces of your comp. If you like inventory management games like Backpack Battles, you'll probably love this one. Great game, cute graphics, active devs that are constantly updating, balancing and adding content. *chef's kiss*
I enjoy this one. Nice presentation, like the causal mode. There is enough of a base that an overall playthrough is I think worth the price for current variety between runs. Would be nice to see some cross-item type synergies. Probably not going to get endless playing like the bazaar, but all things considered I don't think that is a major issue.
Pro: One of the best BB-likes out there. Unique gameplay, awesome art, constant updates (now even with a complete new free character and 2 new sets), satisfying gameplay, good vfx and music. Its now below 10$/€ which is a steal for what you get. Con: yes, there are some translation errors, which I also reported half a year already, which still havent been fixed. thats the only downside right now imho; lack of communcation with the community in general. their discord is complete silent for months now. guess they are focused on the asian market *shrug* still a great game!
