Tradewinds Caravans + Odyssey Pack

I love the storytelling and gameplay much better in this, Tradewinds Caravans, than I liked in Tradewinds Odyssey. The economics vary engagingly across the east, central and western cities, expanding to further goods as the game progresses. The storylines of the characters really pull you in, making you want to keep finding out what happens next. Tradewinds Caravans is a joy to play!

Caravans went a bit backwards on making the series go from "pick a location that you know of" to, "have to go from the closest town" over and over until you reach the destination you wanted. It's a solid game, but like 32(F) degrees kind of solid. not terrible, but not great either. I enjoy it just fine, but coming from the other games... not so much. Odyssey takes all the legends of Mythology and puts nostalga with it, or flips it's own idea with some of them. Once you finish a character, they have this lovely quote that is a poem, while understanding what they're here to do in this Odessian world. A game for a good time, it feels like a series if it ever came back, could use a nice difficulty rounder. Anytime you started out was a pain in the butt, and once you had just enough funds to go on, you would become so rich, it's like it was present day kinds of rich.

Great little game. Not so complex you really have to concentrate hard but fun. Some of the dialogue and missions are very funny.

Abandonware at this point. It has a bug that stops the mouse from appearing on screen, so you don't know what you're clicking. I saw this same bug on other websites too, like BigFishGames.

I couldn't finish one of the story lines as I did one thing in the wrong order. That's an awful bug the devs should have seen and fixed.
