Players praise this as an excellent cozy game with charming artwork, customizable caravans, character outfits, and a relaxing pace that lets you explore at your own speed while managing quests and crafting recipes. Some criticisms include confusion over character design choices and animation inconsistencies between the environment and character models, though a few players object to the game's character customization options on ideological grounds.
I really want to love this game - it has an adorable design, but that might be the only selling feature (for me). The game is simply put, "a tedious fetch quest". That is the game; fetching things, and acting as a taxi service. The way quests are tracked is very frustrating as well. You have to check every location for the charaters names to figure out where to go, and if you don't read all 40 active quests in each town, you might miss what you need to do. The caravan is adorable, but feels so slow when you need to travel the entire map just to pick up one item and take it back across the map. While I do appreciate the new area adding the ferry option, it only allows you to travel to three towns on one site of the map. I find the mini games to cook and sew incredibly slow as well. You have to grind to unlock the batch crafting, but until then, you are stuck individually crafting multiple ingredients to make one item! IT TAKES FOEVER. I wish you could turn off some of these overly tedious features - like the cooking and sewing mini games or the endless caravan driving. If I am going to do catch quest after catch quest, I would like it to take less time to get from point A to point B…
