I will forever be grateful for this game for allowing me to play as a cute SEAL!!! I love seals so much and I wish there were more games you can play as one. This is indeed a cozy game where you are in a caravan, get out, explore, talk to cute animals that may or may not have missions for you. The game play loop does kinda get boring after a couple of hours. You move slowly (though you can get an upgrade to sprint later) and there is no fast travel. So whenever you have to take carry a critter to the opposite side of the map, it's the middle of the in-game day, and there was two other mission items you have to drop off it discourages doing those hitch-hiker missions and the traveling becomes a slog. Maybe the spring upgrade might help this but by default without purchasing it after 10+ hours of gameplay it impacts my experience. The in-game time also I wish was not a thing, or an option that there is no clock. You are stopped in whatever town you go to next after the dialouge of being tired is started. You can cook, sew, craft, etc in your caravan and customise I guess, but I wish I could do missions still. But yeah, very slow, very good design, it's so cute, I love the customizat…

I genuinely don't remember when the last time was that I played a game I had 0 issues with, but this is definitely the most recent. I truly have zero qualms with the game or it's development. I've been playing Cozy Caravan since early access and if there's one thing these developers have been, it's attentive and active! So many games on steam early access end up in a sort of limbo, or if they do get regular updates, it's not what people are actually asking for, but 5 Lives not only continue to add new playable animals and cute cosmetics after the full release, but they've been doing so steadily, at least since I started playing in ea. The music is so relaxing, the voice acting is precious, the gameplay is fun, if a bit tedious at times, but even then it's not constant enough to be problematic. I have very few games in my library that I actually replay once I finish them, and I've replayed this one more than any of those (including baldur's gate). It's not that I feel like I'm missing story, it's just genuinely that fun and relaxing. I will say, this is not a game where the finish line is a quick goal. It's slow on purpose.
